TCTELA PD2Teach: Collaborative Action Cohort - STAAR Redesign and Instruction

Participated in a collaborative conversation as part of the next steps for the Texas Council of Teachers of English (TCTELA) PD2Teach project. This conversation will focus on how to keep TCTELA’s broader literacy goals and quality literacy instruction at the forefront as educators prepare students for success with the STAAR Redesign.  The CAC’s purposes include

  • strengthening and facilitating conversations around student success and the new STAAR question types;

  • preparing students for success with the new STAAR questions types and TCTELA’s broader literacy goals;

  • providing resources and exemplar conversation/conversation models for teachers across Texas; and

  • developing guiding questions for teachers’ reflection about instructional design.
