The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi Inductee
Membership in The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi is earned, and admission is by invitation only. An invitation to join requires nomination by a chapter. Graduate students must have completed at least 18 graduate hours or the equivalent at their institution and rank in the top 10 percent of their class.

2019-2020 Career Development Grant
Career Development Grants provide funding to women who hold a bachelor’s degree and are preparing to advance or change careers or re-enter the workforce in education, health and medical sciences, or social sciences. Primary consideration is given to women of color and women pursuing their first advanced degree or credentials in nontraditional fields.

Valedictorian, Class of 2013
Given at the December and May Commencements, the Lorelle F. Martin Award is presented to the traditional and non-traditional baccalaureate graduates whose studies have been at the University of Mount Olive during full-time, continuous enrollment. These awards are for the highest academic average based on the greatest number of credit hours.

Honors Program Medallion
Honorary medal presented to the graduating senior who successfully completes all of the requirements of the Honors Program. Students must complete a minimum of 30 semester hours each academic year, achieve a 3.2 cumulative GPA at the end of each academic year (with the exception of freshmen, who must achieve a 3.0 cumulative GPA); register for and successfully complete at least one class in the Honors Program each semester earning a minimum grade of a C.
