As the mother of a neurodivergent child, I understand the challenges of hunting down resources and solutions that best fit his needs. After finding myself at a crossroad of frustration, I took a deep breath and remembered:

Change begins with me.”

And so, HTX4ALL was born as the beginning of something long overdue: A catalogue of resources specific to the Greater Houston community for Autistic lives and their loved-ones. It is my sincere hope that this page inspires others to develop similar hubs for their respective cities to support families and providers in their communities.

    A school where children of all abilities six weeks through 12 years, can build a solid foundation in which they can explore and discover their own "distinct ability" through working together.

Higher Education

  • Houston Community College, Houston, Texas- VAST Academy

    VAST Academy provides post-secondary transition programs and comprehensive support services which lead to meaningful credentials, employment and independence for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities on three campuses of Houston Community College. Opportunities indluce vocational certificates, pre-college and freshman success “bridge” courses, career readiness credentials, internships and employment assistance offered through an inclusive, relevant, and affordable avenue.

  • Lee College, Baytown, Texas- Life Skills for Intellectually Disabled Students

    Designed for the developmentally disabled adult to enrich and enhance adult life, this course provides students with a wide variety of skills, including functional skills in computer technology, basic math and reading, and leisure time activities. Students must be 21 years of age or older and NOT enrolled in public school. Beginners and/or returning students are welcome. Pre-registration with Lee College Center for Workforce and Community Development is required before attending class.

  • Lone Star College-Montgomery, Conroe, Texas- LifePATH

    Lone Star College LifePATH is a four-year comprehensive model of post-secondary educational opportunities for students who have disabilities that affect executive functioning. LifePATH focuses on academic readiness, social expectations, and career exploration.

    Hope For Three is a local 501c3 nonprofit and autism advocacy group providing resources and support to families living with an autism spectrum disorder. The organization also generates awareness through outreach, education, and events.
